For the past year and a half, I’ve been getting nonstop calls from these lot, starting bright and early the morning after I had a little accident - actually before I’d even managed to get out of bed! Some other car bumped into me from behind, but honestly, it was a tiny fender bender with no injuries at all on either side. Still, the person calling is really pushy, trying to talk me into making a dodgy insurance claim. How on earth they got my number and the details of the crash, I have no clue. They keep going on about ‘You have to claim,’ ‘There’s money set aside for you,’ and so on. I’d consider changing my number, but that’d mean a nightmare letting the doctors, hospital and all sorts know about it. If these calls are coming because legit insurers are passing my info on to these scoundrels (hearing rumours about that), well, all I can say is they richly deserve the bad press - no wonder our insurance premiums are sky high!

Proper nuisances, these calls never stop. I usually just ignore them but they still keep buzzing my phone, like 3 or 4 times every day no joke. Honestly, no clue who to report this to or what I should do to make them quit.

Direct Assist keeps ringing me up as well as a bunch of other firms, all pushing me to file a personal injury claim for a tiny prang in a car park where luckily no one got hurt. They’re super pushy and won’t take no for an answer. I’ve even reported them to the Telephone Preference Service, but they still keep calling. It’s really annoying.
