I've been receiving a flurry of calls from this number over the past few days. This morning I finally picked up, and it turned out to be a chap from what he described as the Department of Works or something along those lines-a bit tricky to grasp due to his thick accent. He inquired whether I had any background in industry, and upon my response of "no", he proceeded to ask my age. I probed a bit further, asking if this was genuinely a Government-related matter, to which he affirmed it was. Curiously, he then asked about my son, specifically if he had ever been employed in any industrial capacity. I pressed him once more about the authenticity of this Government enquiry and once again he confirmed it. I must admit, I found the whole exchange rather unsettling and decided to wrap up the conversation courteously. What's the game they're playing here?

Claimed they were situated next to the Royal Clifton Hotel in Southport, insisting there's a clinic there. Absolute nonsense if you ask me!

Received a call at 4:23 pm on Sunday, and then again on Monday at 11:25 am, followed by calls at 12:36 pm and 1:19 pm. I got curious and rang the number back, thinking it was a mate’s line. To my surprise, the voicemail stated they were a marketing outfit and advised against returning calls. Quite the nuisance, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now!
