Been getting calls from all sorts of 01702 numbers, yesterday and today. Sounds like one of those diesel emissions scams - they even mentioned a diesel car I owned like eight years back. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Received a call from this number but there was nothing left on the voicemail. I don't have any contacts in Southend, so I'm guessing it’s just another scammer trying their luck.

Got a call from 01702969521 on Thursday 25th Nov, then they rang me again early hours of Friday 26th Nov around 1.30 am and left a voicemail. I couldn't get the call to stop, so in the end I had to unplug the phone and even switch off the power just to end it. Honestly, these calls are such a pain and if this is meant to be some kind of advertising, it’s definitely something that should be made illegal.

Got a call from this number, but they hung up straight away. I’m marking it as harassing since I’ve already been bothered today by scammers pretending to be from Santander. Oddly enough, this time they showed the real number on caller ID. Pretty sure it’s the same scammer trying again, probably figured out it’s me after I told them where to go and ended the call.

Got a silent call from this number earlier, so I tried calling back, only to end up at some call centre. Didn’t bother staying on the line and just blocked them straight away.
