I'm from Malaysia and about two days back I got a call from this number. Then, just today, another call came through but from a different number. I'm pretty sure it's Shaw Academy, something I signed up for ages ago.

Totally agree with you! I can’t recall ever going on the shaw academy site, but when I looked it up, there were like 10 emails over the past couple of years about some kind of incomplete sign-up!

Turns out the calls are all about scamming folks by offering a "free trial" but sneaky hide the fact that you have to give them your card details. Once you do, good luck stopping them unless you block your card completely. They'll keep charging you for as long as there’s cash on there, no matter how you try to quit. That’s why they bug us so much to get us to finish signing up.

Got a call around 4pm local Greece time (GMT +2). The person said I’d purchased some kind of photography course and asked me to email them about a trial since supposedly I’d cancelled. Now, I do know a fair bit about photography and have signed up and cancelled a few online courses before, but these callers never actually said which course they meant.
