Got a call from 18-34 earlier today, sounded like a woman but her accent was really thick. Just ended the call straight away.

Some woman with a thick accent called up saying it was a survey about loft insulation eligibility. I kept asking her loads of questions just to mess about, then I ended the call by saying I actually live in a tent. Made her day a bit confusing, I reckon!

I got a call saying it was about an insulation survey, but I told them I don’t participate in surveys on the phone, so they just hung up. It came through on my mobile, but over the past couple of days, we’ve had about four or five calls from various numbers on our landline, all bringing up insulation somehow!

I never pick up during the day since I’m working from home, and everyone knows to use my mobile anyway. I usually go through the answerphone messages after work, and it’s always the same - loads of calls but never a single voicemail. I got a call from this number about some loft insulation. At first, I thought it might be a scam or something dodgy, but turns out they were offering to check and improve insulation in your attic. Bit random but not annoying really, just a quick chat.

I reckon this was one of those scams or sales calls that kick in once you speak. I tried this trick where I didn’t answer straight away, left a few seconds before saying hello. By the time I actually spoke, the call was already dropping, so obviously it wasn’t anyone who genuinely wanted to talk. I just blocked the number after that.

Got a couple of calls on my mobile today from a number Vodafone flagged as spam. It’s one of those annoying automated calls that keeps pausing, trying to seem like a real person but it’s just rubbish. Proper irritating!
