its a marketing firm working for scottish power, nothing dodgy like stealing your apps or personal info, but they do keep ringing non-stop. like someone else mentioned, theres a recorded msg saying to ring 0330 995 8472 if you want to stop getting their calls. and no, i didnt get blown up or lose anything important when i rang, no identity theft or apps getting hacked or whatever. all it seemed to do was take my number off their call list.

I couldn't manage to block the call, so I tried ringing back when they were closed. The automated message was quite courteous. It mentioned if I called 03309958472, they'd take my number off their calling list. I gave it a go.

Loads of times people pretending to be from BT have called my landline, saying my IP address has been spotted in loads of different countries. Answered three calls today from someone claiming to be SCOTTISH power. Heard some weird foreign name which definitely aint me. I told them to stop ringing me. Totally a scam, theyre not really SCOTTISH power, especially since theyre supposedly from Southend.

I’ve discovered that this number is linked to Harp Media, supposedly contacting me on behalf of Scottish Power. However, I've got my doubts about the authenticity of this outreach.
