Some bloke with a weird accent called, asking to speak to the phone’s owner. I asked if it was a cold call and he said no. When I tried to get the name of who he wanted, he just brushed it off. He wanted to chat about my money troubles, but I told him I don’t share that kinda info with strangers. Surprisingly, he just said good afternoon and hung up.

One day it's "Boilers for benefits", then "Citizens Advice", and just now "Financial Services Help". I've told them off proper every time, but they keep ringing back. I'd block the number, but as long as they're pestering me, at least they’re not tricking someone else. Honestly, I get a bit of a laugh messing with them!

Fraudulent nonsense! - I've been inundated with calls from this number lately, each time featuring a different name for what seems to be the same dodgy operation. They’ve claimed to represent 'Boilers for benefits', 'Citizens Advice', and now it's 'Financial Services Assistance'. I've certainly let them know my thoughts loud and clear, yet they persist in their calls. Blocking them would be an option, but as long as they're pestering me, it feels like they’re not duping someone else. To be honest, I find a twisted sense of amusement in leading them on!

They said they were from Boilers on Benefits. Once I picked up, there was a long pause which immediately put me on edge. Then this bloke reads out some script with awful English, asking if anyone at my address gets pension credit or any other benefits. I told him if I did, I wouldn’t be spilling the beans since the government already knows. I was in a bad mood and ended up giving him a good telling off, using some proper colourful language about his dodgy scam. I’m signed up with the useless TPS, but it never seems to stop these calls.

Got a call about 'boilers' - click! No way that was a UK landline, not even for a second. The number showed Southend-on-Sea, supposedly. There was loads of static and crackling, and it had that weird echo like an international call. Could be a scam or just a nuisance. I didn’t really let them get a word in, so I’m calling it ‘unknown’ for now.
