Sounds like a total scam to me. Someone pretending to be from Amazon Prime called, telling me to switch on my computer and follow some steps so I wouldn’t get charged £17.99 for a renewal. I’m not even subscribed to Amazon Prime, but I decided to humour them a bit. Then, just as quickly, they ended the call.
