Not sure who it was. I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t know. I look them up online, and if it’s not a legit business, I block the number on my phone. Then they can ring all they like, but my phone won’t go off and at least they’re tied up, not bothering other people.

Got a call from this number earlier, but I didn’t answer because I never pick up calls from unknown numbers. Honestly, don’t see why more people don’t do that. It’s the first time in about half a year I’ve had a cold call - trust me, it really stops them bothering you.

Got a call asking for someone who obviously wasn't me. When I said that, they got really put out and claimed they’d spoken to him on this number before. I told them that’s not possible as I’ve had this number for yonks, then they just hung up. A couple of minutes later, they ring back asking for the same bloke. I pointed out they just called the exact same number, and she hung up again. Bit disappointing, really, as I was half hoping someone might call with some interesting investing offers (yeah right!!!). Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

A rather young lad rang me up claiming he was from an organisation that sounded something like "The RVGS Group"-though I might have misremembered the exact initials. When I requested him to reiterate the name, he simply avoided it. Curiosity got the better of me, so I pressed him on what the company actually specialised in... and to my surprise, he promptly hung up!

yeah, i think the company was called something like ‘rpmg’ or similar? the guy on the phone was really quick but just kept rambling, never really getting to any point apart from checking my address. even then, he didn’t seem bothered about what i was saying. he mentioned a couple of investment options but honestly, didnt sound interested, and ive never got any info from them. so weird.
