Got a phone call claiming to be from the CYBER CRIME division. I said I don’t even own a computer, then just put the phone down.

Got a call from someone saying he was Peter Yang from Microsoft. Checked on LinkedIn and there is actually a Peter Yang working at Microsoft in the US, but Microsoft never calls customers out of the blue. Feels like a total scam to me.

Had a dodgy call from someone claiming to be from Visa. When I asked why he hadn’t confirmed I was the card holder, he got all defensive and kept insisting it was about my visa card. Then when I pressed which bank had issued it, he ended up calling me a smart-arse. Told him straight away that’s when I knew it was a scam. Total waste of time.
