Somebody rang me claiming to be from Sea World Resorts or something. Then they said I signed up for something called Offerx, which I definitely didn't. I told the lady I never requested a call and warned them that if they rang again, I'd report them for harrassing me. This isn't the first time this number has called, but it’s the first time I've picked up.

This is the sixth time I’ve had a call from a number connected to CLC; clearly, they couldn’t care less about the Telephone Preference Service or GDPR! I never pick up numbers I don’t know, I just look them up here first. The other numbers I’ve seen from them include: 02036428671; 01332646700; 01142246700; 02038139777; 02033932981.

So now they say they're from British Telecom and that I'll get disconnected if I don’t ring back or keep on the line. They used some robotic voice, probably to scare people who might be more vulnerable.

I got called by a firm named CLC World. The guy talked about completing a survey (which I actually did at Malaga airport) and was offering me a bargain holiday as a thank you. It was £45 for a week in Fuengirola and £98 for the return flight. Turns out it's a timeshare outfit. I ended up spending half a day with them trying to push a timeshare deal, but I kept saying no. After that, the rest of the week was brilliant, great place and lovely accommodation. If you can handle the half a day of sales pitch, their deal is definitely worth a go.

This is from CLC, a timeshare company. They’ll tell you that you’ve won a holiday in one of their lovely apartments, and all you need to do is cover the flights. A few years back, I was at a hotel where CLC was promoting their timeshares. I overheard a chat between a hotel employee and some CLC reps. It’s a proper hard sell. I wouldn’t go as far as calling it a scam, but honestly, I’d recommend just hanging up. The hotel worker looked shocked at how pushy the sellers were and how little respect they showed the potential customers.

These callers persistently annoy me, despite the fact that I've clearly stated I'm not interested in them or what they're promoting. It's utterly infuriating!

I've also had a call from this firm, both from the 0203 642 8993 number and another in Southend. The name they go by is CLC World, and from what I see on their site, it seems like classic timeshare nonsense all over again! It's definitely a con, no one’s ever won anything with them. They just seem to push holiday ownership on people overseas, probably trying to pressure them into buying. The lack of a proper phone number and scarce details on their website really tip you off. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t even have a proper office!
