This number rang me the other day with a bloke claiming he was from Natwest’s fraud dept, regarding a recent scam I got caught up in. The chap said his name was ‘Can’ and sounded like he was from Turkey or maybe somewhere in North Africa. Oddly, he already knew my full name and asked if I had a moment to talk about the matter, which I said no to. Then he wanted my home address to send some paperwork, but I didn't give it. In the end, he told me to call back on a free 0800 number and gave me a reference code for the case, which he said I'd need when I phoned again.

Scam alert! They say they’re from NatWest but won’t say what’s wrong with your account unless you hand over your bank info. Sounds totally dodgy to me! Never share your details with them.
