I received a call from this number today, with a chap claiming to be part of the Natwest fraud prevention team, concerning a scam that I unfortunately fell victim to not long ago. He introduced himself as 'Can', though his accent sounded quite foreign, possibly Turkish or from North Africa. The caller was all too familiar with my full name and inquired if I had a moment to chat about my situation, but I declined. He then pressed for my address so they could send some correspondence, which I also turned down. In the end, he instructed me to return his call at an 0800 number and urged me to jot down a reference number for my alleged case that I would need to provide when I called back. Quite suspicious, wouldn't you say?
