A woman with an Asian accent rang me up, claiming there were some dodgy transactions on my bank account involving overseas wire transfers. She tried to get me to verify my bank info so she could ‘help’ stop it and keep my account safe. Pretty clear it’s a scam, these call centres over in Asia are definitely behind some kind of international money laundering scheme.
