Got a call from someone claiming to be BT Openreach about my slow internet. There was loads of noise in the background, like a busy call centre. They said the problem was with my router but couldn’t say who my internet provider was. When I asked why Openreach were reaching out instead of my provider, the line just went dead. The caller didn’t seem bothered when I mentioned I might record the conversation.
