Earlier this evening, our mobile phone received a rather unwelcome call, essentially inviting us to claim for any accidents we might have had over the last three years. We consider this a blatant violation of our privacy, perpetrated by what can only be described as "ambulance chasers"-whether they’re dubious lawyers or complete con artists. To our recollection, the caller didn’t even provide a company name, which only adds to our frustration. We’re quite irritated we didn’t pick up when the chap called. This sort of nonsense is wholly intolerable and needs to be put to a stop!

Just received a call from this number not long after we shared our details with Essex Police regarding a T28 incident where the other driver did a runner. While we’re not outright accusing Essex Police of handing our information to a solicitors' firm trying to hawk their services to chase the other party, it’s certainly curious. Should we find out that's exactly what's happened, we'll be seeking our own legal representation to hold Essex Police accountable for it.
