I neglected to properly explore this device until well after the return window had closed, so I’ve chosen not to pursue it further. It does boast a decent display, but I’ll own up to my oversight for not investigating it earlier. I’ve already invested a fair bit, swapping out the keyboard, upgrading the RAM, and fitting some SSDs, yet I still can’t seem to resolve the issue with memory card A losing its connection. Curiously, eBay’s purchase history has begun showing old transactions from years back. When I saw this particular listing reemerge, I felt prompted to leave a comment, not really expecting it to be acknowledged-eBay usually enforces a time limit for contacting past sellers. It was more of a cathartic expression than anything, so the reply was a lovely surprise! Given the wear and tear, I had assumed this was a corporate device that had been well-used, handed down to you after you replaced it, and that you were instructed to do as you pleased with this rather battered unit. Thus, chasing you for recompense seemed rather futile. As you rightly noted, it has indeed been some time. It’s been resting against the wall, the bottom cover taken off for easy RAM reseating if the need arises-though I’ve got a desktop, laptop, and even a tablet in use at the moment. Now I find myself pondering whether I should just send this dodgy Dell packing to the tip and start fresh.

I’m referring to a Dell Precision m6500 laptop. Perhaps you recall personally dropping it off at Sussex Road in Watford back in August of 2021?
