The screen’s decent though, so I blame myself for not checking it out earlier. I’ve spent a fair bit upgrading it - swapped the keyboard, added more RAM, put in new SSDs - but still couldn’t fix the problem with memory card A losing its connection. Strangely, eBay’s purchase history has started showing items I bought years ago, and when this popped up I decided to send a message, not expecting it to be delivered since eBay usually limits chats with old sellers. I wasn’t really waiting for a response, just wanted to clear my thoughts. From the looks of it, I assumed this was a company machine you’d been given to use, and since you got a new one, you were told to do whatever with this old laptop. You clearly knew what condition it was in when you put it on eBay, so I figured asking for any sort of compensation would be pointless. Like you said, it’s all been a long time ago now. The laptop is just sitting there, bottom cover off so I can easily pop the RAM back in if I ever really need it. I’ve got a desktop, a laptop, and a tablet I’m typing this on now.
