I received a rather dodgy call with a recording urging me to hit button 1 to authorise or button 2 to reject what they claimed were some unusual transactions from my bank. Naturally, I quickly hopped onto my online banking app to verify if anything was amiss, and as I suspected, there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary.

I got a recorded call saying it was from my bank about two payments taken from my account. The message asked me to press 1 if I didn’t recognise the charges or 2 for other options. Felt dodgy to me, so I just ended the call. Seems like a scam, watch out for calls like this!
