Got a call earlier today from this number. Some woman with a nasty attitude claimed she was from BT and said there were errors with my internet connection. She told me to get on my computer so she could ‘show me’. When I asked her to verify my details, like my name, she snapped back asking how she’d know that. I pointed out that she was the one who rang the account holder, so surely she’d have my name or account number on file. She got even more rude and irritable and then just hung up on me.
