Avoid ringing 03003030249 again, as it’s just a generic number used for all NHS Lanarkshire services, and they don’t have any way to track back calls. The wait was more than 10 minutes and in the end, no help was given. The lines get really clogged up too.

I think this number is really from NHS Lanarkshire, but I got a recorded message about a future appointment, which I dont have. They cancled an appointment for me spring time that they gave me a year before and didnt say why in the letter they sent. This call felt like the usual scam calls trying to get your info, so I just hung up. I tried ringing the 0300 number listed on the NHS website to call back but it said the office was shut. If I was the type to just share my info with recorded calls, I reckon I could’ve been scammed loads of times over the years.

This is an authentic NHS number. The lady who rang asked me to verify my address, which made me a bit wary since I’d read some comments here already, so I replied, 'If you’re calling, surely you should know my address.' Then she mentioned the waiting list I’m on to show it was a legitimate call. She was offering a phone appointment with a neurologist in Lanarkshire.
