To top it off, they mentioned it was a jiffy bag and the number traced back to somewhere in Scotland. I can't help but wonder who on earth these people are!

We received a rather peculiar call from someone across the street, who seemed rather unfamiliar with us, inquiring about a certain Chris Taylor. The callback number they provided was 01698 730918. We suspect that Chris Taylor might be a pseudonym used by private investigators working for Riding and Sons based in Motherwell, Scotland, especially since they're asking about various individuals. This evening, we received a call from a chap claiming he had a parcel for our former partner and needed a date for the delivery driver to drop it off. When we returned the call, she explained it was just a standard A4 jiffy bag! Quite bizarre, really!

Earlier today, our folks came back from their jobs, and it turns out their rather elderly neighbour received a call from someone named Chris Taylor, claiming to be looking for Mum and Dad. Curiosity piqued, Mum decided to ring the number back. To her surprise, the person on the line insisted they needed to speak to us, saying they had a parcel to drop off. It's all a bit odd, really, given that we've not lived with our parents for the best part of 14 years! Apparently, the call came from a number traced to Scotland. Just who are these folks? It's quite baffling!
