I got a call from 01698631797 and the person sounded like they worked in a call centre, maybe dealing with insurance claims or something like that. They kept going on about some claim I supposedly made, but I don’t even remember doing anything related. Felt a bit dodgy to me, so I just hung up. Be careful if you get a call from that number!

I received a call from this number, and to my surprise, they knew my name. They claimed to be from ATE addressing an incident involving a road traffic accident. They inquired if it was me or anyone living with me involved in the matter. I politely said no and decided to end the call. The young woman on the line had a distinctly English accent, reminiscent of Liverpool, yet the call seemed to be originating from Motherwell! Quite peculiar, to say the least!
