So, looks like this code is from Motherwell area. Got a call out of the blue warning about "unauthorised activity" on my laptop, offering a clean-up. What they meant was they wanted my IP and access to my machine. It's such a pain! I've also had calls about washing machine insurance, fake Amazon orders on accounts I don’t even own, and supposed bank problems with banks I never use. Funny thing is, all the callers seem to speak with the same accent, which isn’t the usual Scottish one.
