I got a call on our home phone from a woman claiming over £700 had been spent on our Amazon account. Thing is, we don’t even have an Amazon account! The message sounded like it was a recording. After looking up the number, I blocked it straight away. What really threw me was the area code - 01698 - which is the same one we have here in Lanarkshire, Scotland. Proper tricky!
