Got a call from someone who knew my name, claiming I was paying too much for TV repairs. Thing is, I don't pay a penny for that. Told them to stop calling and just block their number.

It was a total tv scam. I asked the bloke if he was aware of what the telephone preference service is, and then he just cut me off straight away!

I never pick up numbers I don’t know, so I ignored this call. When I looked it up here, it turns out I don’t know anyone in Mothervell. Apparently, they said they missed my call but would return it if I left a message. Honestly, you were the one who rang me first!

Surely these must be either persistent scammers or some kind of automated marketing calls. We've got an answerphone for real calls only, yet these keep coming through. It really feels like an invasion of my privacy.
