I just got a dodgy automated phone call that purported to be from the security department of my bank. They were going on about suspicious transactions linked to Amazon and some foreign money transfer. They wanted me to hit 1 to sort it all out. It's clearly a scam, no doubt about it!

I had a dodgy call about my bank card being used fraudulently, they said there was £1000 wired abroad and £300 spent on Amazon. They told me to press 1 to stop it, but I didn’t fall for that nonsense.

Got a robotic voice claiming to be from my bank’s security team. They told me I’d supposedly sent £1100 abroad and £300 to Amazon, transactions I never made. I just ended the call right away. Pure scam, no doubt.

Got a call from this number earlier. It was a really clear, robotic voice speaking in flawless English. They talked about two things - something about Amazon and also an international money order! Strange stuff.

Got a call from this number telling me they were from my bank’s security team, claiming my card was charged a certain amount from Amazon and used overseas. Totally untrue. For starters, no legit bank security dept uses automated calls like that. If it was actually my bank, they’d say their name properly and run me through a proper security check only they’d know. Complete nonsense.

Got a call claiming to be from Amazon about a payment. I’ve never had anything to do with Amazon, so it’s clearly a scam!

Got a call from Sam but it was some robot claiming there were two dodgy payments on my account, one supposedly from Amazon for £300 and some massive sum through Western Union. Seriously, these folk need to find something better to do with their time - maybe get a real job instead of messing with people!
