I got a recorded message saying something about me hacking a government computer, and if it wasn’t me, I should call a certain number. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a recorded voice saying my internet was at risk because my IP address got hacked, and they threatened to cut off my connection in a day. The message told me to press 1 to speak with an IT professional who could fix my IP. I just ended the call straight away! This sounds really dodgy and could easily trick folks into something much worse than just a scam.
