Got a call from a man with an Indian accent. When I tried to find out who he was, he just ended the call. I was actually the property owner.

When I saw the number, I immediately thought it was a dodgy call. So I was on my guard. A man rang, claiming to be from BT about my broadband having issues. I asked him for his ID number, and he got a bit annoyed, saying he'd already given it at the start. I asked again, and he still refused. Then I told him to prove he actually worked for BT, and he just ended the call. Definitely didn’t seem like someone trying to bother an elderly or vulnerable person during those five minutes.

this number called me saying they were from my internet provider and that there was a problem with my connection. they wanted me to install some apps on my phone but i was suspicious so i used my isp’s official app to check the line myself. when i said something about it being a scam and mentioned the police, they suddenly got all defensive and then i just ended the call.

Got a call from a guy who sounded Indian, said he was with BT and wanted to talk about my internet speed issues. I told him everything was fine on my end and then he just ended the call super quick!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BT Openreach warning me about issues with my internet. I told her I don’t even have BT as my provider. She goes, “Yes, we’re aware of that.” I then said I’m actually with a completely different company, nothing to do with BT at all. She just hung up on me - had enough of these calls! That’s the second one today!
