10 monthsHonestly, this was legit. Got a call telling me our home alarm system, which we're signed up to, went offline overnight (power did cut out) & they asked if I could try a test call. I did, and it all worked fine.1 yearTotally a scam! They had a name that was nearly right and said my "mum" needed to update her personal alarm. They used a fake local area code but it was actually from somewhere else. It's really worrying since they're going after elderly folks and their families. They even gave a second number to ring back and it just went to another waiting line. Best not to pick up or ring them back, trust me.2 yearsGot a missed call on my home phone around 11:45 this morning. When I rang back, there was no one there - just strange noises, like clicks and beeps, then it ended with a steady tone that reminded me of a fax machine. Very odd.2 yearsGave this number a ring again but all I heard was this weird high-pitched screech, no connection to any network or phone company at all! Proper odd!5 yearsGreetings from the community alarm unit. We wish to inform you that a family member has activated their emergency button. As my mother’s emergency contact, I was fortunate to be available to take the call, as she had a tumble in the garden.Submit Your Own Report (01698 269193)
