Got a call just now on 09/05/20 at about 2:20pm from someone with an Indian accent claiming they were from Virgin Media. They said my broadband was running slow and offered to boost the speed. The caller asked me to switch on my laptop and let them access it remotely to sort things out. I told them straight up that I wasn’t daft and told them to shove off! If you get a call like this, don’t fall for it either. Tried ringing the number back, but just got a recorded message saying it’s an unknown number.
