Received a call earlier today at approximately 14:20 on the 5th of September, 2020. The caller had an accent typical of Indian origin, claiming to be from Virgin Media. They mentioned my broadband was performing poorly and offered to help me boost the speed. They insisted I switch on my laptop and grant them access to take control for repairs. I calmly informed them that I wasn't naive enough to fall for such tricks and told them to do one! If anyone else encounters a similar call, I suggest you respond in kind. Trying to ring the number back only leads to a recorded message stating it’s an unknown caller.
