Before I even pick up calls from unknown numbers, I always check this website first. Judging by all the feedback here, it seems like that number is definitely one to avoid and should be blocked.

Guess who just rang? A bunch of muppets pretending to be from some debt company - all those dodgy scammers from Asia or somewhere. They kept asking who I was, and when I didn’t answer, they just hung up! It’s so annoying and sketchy - they use spoofed numbers and even try ringing back from different ones. Honestly, can’t someone please track these idiots down and block them for good? They’re such a pain!

I picked up the phone and a bloke named Kevin was on the line. He claimed that I was in debt due to some credit issue and mentioned something about me having taken out a fresh loan. Naturally, I denied it. He then just said “cheers” and hung up without another word. Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me - could very well be a scammer. - Caller: 01698242665

Got a call from 01698242665 earlier today, didn’t recognise the number so I just let it ring out. From what I've read, it seems like a load of rubbish cold callers trying to scam people or push some dodgy business. Honestly, just stop calling me already, I’m gonna block this number for good. Judging by what others have said, it’s clearly just some scammer looking to con someone out of their cash. Watch out everyone, stay safe!

Got a call from this number yesterday evening. When I called back, a lady with a Scottish accent answered and mentioned that someone else was using their number - she said it was related to a car company or something. Then, out of the blue, I got another ring from a woman speaking with an Asian accent claiming she was from the UK government. When I told her she was lying and this wasn’t her number, she just put the phone down. Total scam, so I’ve blocked the number now.

i keep getting calls from this number and its really annoying, especially when u tell them no they just keep pushing it.

This bloke was speaking really quick and his English wasn’t great. I couldn’t quite catch what he was trying to pitch, seemed pretty unprofessional to me. Honestly, I reckon it might have been some kind of scam.

Someone phoned me saying they were from the FCA, but it’s a total scam! They probably bought some random list and were pushing IVAs. I work with the FCA myself, so I know this isn’t legit at all. Don’t trust them!

Someone rang me saying they were calling on behalf of the national credit agency. When I told them I hadn’t applied for anything and asked why they were ringing, they just ended the call straight away.
