Got a phone call from that number, person had a thick Scottish accent and asked if we worried about how pricey funerals are nowadays. He claimed he wasn’t trying to sell me anything. When I said I wasn’t bothered, he kept pressing me for a reason. I asked nicely for them to take my number off their list. What bugs me most is that my number is on the TPS. Why are these calls still happening if they’re breaking the rules?

Got a call from someone trying to sell me stuff out of the blue. Definitely one of those cold calls.

On the 16th of July 2018, I got a weird call from someone claiming we didn't have a funeral plan sorted. They said Helping Hands was the one that gave them my number, but I've never come across that name before.

They claimed their system said we hadn't arranged a funeral plan. Then, suddenly, they just ended the call!

Got a strange call from someone pretending to be Scottish the other day. He claimed he “saw we didn’t have a funeral plan” - no clue how he worked that out! Clearly just a cold call trying to pitch something. I told him we’d already organised a funeral plan, and when he asked for more details, I flat out told him it wasn’t any of his concern and asked him not to ring us again.
