Some stranger rang me but hung up just as I was about to pick up.

I got a call from an unknown number, when I asked who it was they just hung up on me. It wasn’t clear at all who they wanted.

I picked up because the number looked familiar, same as a firm I work with. But it hung up after just three rings. Seems like they're trying to get you to ring back and hit you with pricey charges? A proper caller would give you enough time to answer or at least leave a message on the voicemail.

I finally answered, but nobody said anything on the other end.

Had a weird call today, 4th Nov 2020. There was this constant noise in the background, sounded like a busy call centre or something. No one actually said a word though, and after about 15 seconds the person just hung up. Really annoying when your phone rings out of nowhere for no reason like that.

On the 2nd of March 2020, I got three calls on my mobile from a number claiming to be from Brampton, England, but I never picked up. They didn’t bother to leave a voicemail either. I checked and the number 01697741444 isn’t listed with BT at all.
