The caller said it was Virgin on 02 network offering a 40% discount, and they clearly knew my number. I asked for their email, and after giving it, I got a bunch of emails and texts telling me to verify stuff. When I told the woman to take it easy and slow down, she turned really rude and kept ringing me over and over again.

Total rip off! I picked up and the woman asked if she could speak to me by name. I said yeah, then she went on with some nonsense I couldn’t understand. She repeated it a couple times and I caught her mentioning stuff about my credit cards and loans. I told her straight away I don’t have any loans and she’s definitely a scammer.
