So on 8th July 2020, I got a call from 0697 797 8562. Looks like it’s one of those Amazon scam numbers - they’ve rung me like 5 times lately. Before this, they tried numbers that seemed to be from Cirencester, Shetland, Venezuela, and one I can’t remember, now suddenly this one from Brampton. It’s pretty dodgy all round.

Somebody rang saying they were from Amazon and that they’d take money straight outta my account. I just cut the call halfway thru the message.

some bloke rang me claiming to be from bt, saying there was a problem with my router and that others had been using my internet connection!

Got a call from someone claiming to be BT, threatening to disconnect my service in two days if I didn’t do what they said. Total scam, so I’ve blocked the number straight away.
