Got a phone call early on from a woman with an Indian accent, saying she was from TalkTalk’s tech support. She told me there was a problem with my computer, which I didn’t buy at all. I asked her to remove my number from their records, but she said she couldn’t do that. When I questioned her more, she then claimed she wasn’t actually connected to TalkTalk tech. Her story sounded just like a few scams I've heard before, which I later confirmed with the real TalkTalk. Definitely a fraud.

Got a ring from 01697 451895 earlier, someone said they were from TalkTalk and claimed there was a problem with my laptop. I told them I don’t even own a laptop, then they just hung up on me. Looks like these scammers are always switching up their phone numbers.

They called again but with a different number this time, saying they were from TalkTalk. When I asked, “So you’re from TalkTalk? Who’s it you’re trying to reach?” they just hung up on me. Proper annoying!
