I’ve had calls from this number about six times now, mostly early mornings around 8 or later around 4 in the afternoon. I ended up blocking it. Every time I answered, all I could hear was this weird static noise, kinda like when your radio loses signal while driving.

Got a call from some place called First Response saying I was in some accident a few years back and that they were with the DVIA. When I asked how they even got my details, the bloke got really dodgy and wouldn’t give a straight answer.

Got a call from this number just now, it's one of loads of random unknowns that have been ringing me over the past few weeks. Normally I don't pick up calls from numbers I don't know, but after reading these comments, i'll be blocking this one as well.

someone rang my phone looking for my missus said they were from a firm called direct response, when i asked straight if it was about ppi or a recent crash they said no. wouldnt say what the call was about, so i just hung up on em.

Spoke to a bloke who was really cheeky, said he could sort out my insurance cancellation. Told him I’m with the police and he got proper nasty. Kept swearing and being rude multiple times. After a bit, he twigged he wasn’t getting anywhere and ended the call with some last insults. Seriously, don’t share any info with these people, they’re complete con artists.

just got a call, they were rattling off some script about an accident i was supposedly in. asked them where they got that info from, they said dvla and some insurance company. told them i havent been in any accident, then they asked if id had one abroad! no idea where they get this stuff from. fed up with these dodgy calls and their lies. gonna block the number now. bet they'll be back again soon enough.

somebody called me saying i'd been in an accident and was owed £1500.00 but if i didn't claim it, the other party would keep the money. sounded a bit dodgy so i just said no thanks and hung up.

Got a call again, this time from somewhere called Skemersdale or similar, last time it was the same guy ringing about Chester like others mentioned. Said I’d been in an accident within the last 7 and a half years and could claim £1500. Asked for my reg number so I gave him tango alpha romeo delta 1 sierra. He got proper miffed and asked if I was driving or airborne or something. Pretty sure he didn’t find my joke amusing :( total scam for sure.

I have no clue who’s been ringing me as they always call when i’m at work and can’t pick up. When i try to ring back, the call just drops and doesn’t go through. Today alone, ive got like three calls from the same number.
