She said she got my number through WeChat and, to keep things secure, mentioned she had to ask a few questions. I ended the call and then got a message threatening to track my phone and implying they’d take some action against me. I’ve already reported the number to the cops.

It rings at least twice every day which gets really annoying, especially when I’m expecting an important call. A few weeks back, a number like this kept ringing so I ended up blocking it. Now this new number is almost the same, just the last three digits are different. I have no idea what their game is with this.
