I got a call from a young woman who asked if I was Mr ....? She used my wife’s work name, so I told her no. She seemed a bit puzzled and wanted to know who she was speaking to, so I asked her who was calling. She said her name was Bella and claimed she was calling from BT about my phone charges. I asked her straight if she really worked for BT, and she said yes. Then I told her I thought she was fibbing, didn’t she? She denied it, but then suddenly hung up. Totally a scam - I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent who asked if I was "Mr..." using my wife's last name. I told him no, and after a brief silence, he just ended the call. Sounds like a scam to me, so I've blocked the number now.
