I received a call from a chap claiming to be Kevin, from Virgin Media, but his accent was quite thick and hard to understand. He mentioned there was something off with my router. However, it struck me as odd since I’m not even a Virgin customer. I can’t help but wonder why they'd reach out to me if I've never had an account with them. Something feels a bit dodgy, doesn’t it?

i got a call from a bloke with an indian accent who said his name was kevin and that he was calling from virgin media. i didn’t say much and avoided mentioning that i actually have virgin broadband, although you could probably figure it out from my landline number. kevin spoke kindly and said that virgin had noticed my broadband speed had been a bit up and down recently. i just told him that’s normal for any internet provider. after that, kevin just wrapped up the call and hung up.
