Received a call from someone purporting to be from BT, stating that my internet security had been breached and so forth. It's an absolute SCAM, SCAM, SCAM! For heaven's sake, ignore any requests to link up with their so-called BT Technical Support! Just a complete SCAM!

I received a rather unexpected call claiming that my BT internet service had been cut off. Quite the shocker, as I don’t even subscribe to their internet! The number that rang me was 01694138524.

I had a missed call from this number, and they just rang off without saying a word. Noticed a few others mentioning similar experiences. We often get these calls from various numbers, and I've already flagged them to the ICO.

I answered the phone, but as soon as I heard that dreaded 'BT' (scam) mention, I promptly ended the call without a second thought.

I received a couple of calls from the number 01694138524, but they hung up both times. I've no clue who it belongs to. It’s just a pointless exercise—wasting both cash and time—believe me, it’s only their loss. It’s rather disheartening to think that these fraudsters have nothing better to do with their lives.

I received a call on my home phone from someone who claimed to be John from BT, complete with an Indian accent. I immediately called him out as a fraud, and he reacted with a barrage of expletives. Instead of hanging up, I decided to keep him chatting for a bit; figured I might as well waste his time and hopefully deter him from making a few more scam calls today.

I just received a call from someone claiming to be John Smith. He had quite a noticeable Indian/Pakistani accent. Curiously, when I probed a little, questioning whether that was truly his name, he suddenly dropped a couple of email addresses—one being [email protected]—before abruptly ending the call. Quite the odd encounter!

Just received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from the BT internet team. The number displayed was 01694 138524. They rattle off the same tired nonsense. For instance, Amal has now turned into "Archie", Mohammad is suddenly "Mike", and Shakil has magically transformed into "Sandy." Don’t hesitate – hang up immediately! Protect your finances and personal information from these con artists.

It appears to be a rather bothersome individual, possibly indulging in a bit of mischief with these annoying calls. Best to just add the number to your block list on your mobile and save yourself the trouble!

Received a call purporting to be from the BT technical support team, supposedly regarding my internet issues. I knew straight away it was a con, so I promptly put the phone down.

I've had the same caller ring me twice within the last thirty minutes, insisting they were from BT regarding my internet connection. However, when I requested a contact number, they abruptly ended the call. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

That number’s tried to contact me again today. An Indian woman claimed to be with BT Technical Support, saying she was ringing regarding my internet connection. I replied, “You’re not actually from BT, are you?” She stammered something unintelligible before abruptly ending the call. Quite the cheek, if you ask me!
