Our office got a call from this number earlier. The bloke claimed to be from Visa Verification and said he’d just prevented a payment of fifteen grand from going through.

I got a call from a British woman’s automated voice saying there was a problem with my Visa - something about an unauthorised £600 charge. When I hit 1, a bloke picked up and said "thanks for calling BT home hub," like he had mixed up his scams. I told him I wasn’t falling for it and to stop calling me, then he started shouting, "No, no, you need to listen or you’ll lose your cash!" I just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
