Got a call from someone claiming there was an issue with the security on my computer, but it felt like a total scam to me.

I received three phone calls in total; the initial one seemed to be from some sort of technical support claiming to be from Windows, followed by two more that accused me of fraudulent activity on my computer. I decided to terminate the calls immediately.

As soon as I picked up, they just hung the phone right away.

Received three calls in quick succession from this number-two were women, and then there was a male voice on the line. They were relentless, even managing to ring through after I'd blocked the number! The whole conversation revolved around Windows issues and suspected hacking. In the end, my husband had to intervene. He suggested blocking our computer, and after doing that, everything seems to be functioning nicely. This number definitely warrants a thorough investigation; their persistence is quite alarming!

I’ve received no fewer than eight calls from this number over the last couple of days. The chap on the line claimed to be from Windows and insisted that our computer had been compromised. He introduced himself as Peter and warned that our system was allegedly being utilised for illicit activities. Quite the nuisance, I must say! Lately, the calls have been nothing but silence on the other end.
