Got a call from some PPI claims place. Told them I’d already checked and got my money back, so I didn’t want any help. The woman just wouldn’t let me get a word in and carried on chatting. Ended up hanging up and blocking the number.

I received a call from a guy with a Filipino accent on my mobile, and I have no clue how he got hold of my number since I’ve never shared it with any companies. He kept insisting I should sign some document he wanted to send about a refund I supposedly had, but he didn’t explain what it was for at all. When I started questioning him, he just abruptly ended the call. Honestly, it was a pretty uncomfortable experience.

Pretty sure it’s just another spam call, maybe those annoying folks trying to scare you with some made-up crash story...!!! Usually if it really matters, they leave a voicemail. Plus, if it’s a mate calling from an odd number, they’d probably just ping me on Facebook, text, or email since they know I’m likely working.

Anyway, I don't have mates named Mr ‘No Caller ID’ or Mrs ‘Blocked Number’ either.

My fix? Just block ’em right away... job done.

I received a call from this number, but there was no one on the other end and no voicemail was left. Quite strange, really!
