Rung up by a PPI claims call centre. I made it clear that I'd already explored this and had received my refunds, so assistance wasn't required. She just interrupted me repeatedly and kept her spiel going. In the end, I clicked off and blocked the number entirely.

I received a call on my mobile from a chap claiming to be from the Philippines, and I'm rather baffled as to how he procured my number. I’ve kept it under wraps and not shared it with any companies. This bloke was on about sending me some paperwork regarding a supposed refund that I've never even heard of, and honestly, he was all over the place with his details. The conversation took a rather abrupt turn when he decided to hang up, evidently miffed that I wasn’t taking the bait. Quite a distressing experience, to say the least!

Clearly another one of those telemarketing outfits, or perhaps “a friendly nudge about that incident you’ve never even experienced...!!!”
Generally speaking, if a call is truly significant, you can expect a voicemail to be left behind. And any true mate trying to reach you from an unfamiliar number would most likely drop a message on Facebook, send a text, or ping you an email, seeing as they’re aware you might be busy at work.

Besides, I don’t have any chums named Mr "Unknown" or Mrs "Private Caller.”

My approach? Just block those pesky digits...it’s as easy as that.
