I finally picked up the phone. Turns out it was Arridge Garage Doors, a national company located in Oswestry, Shropshire. They apparently use several different phone numbers for their outgoing calls (01691670236 and 01691670264), rather than their main listed number, which is 01691670394. I’d actually sent them a query before, so that’s probably why they were ringing.

For over a week now, I’ve been getting loads of quick calls from the same number, then when I pick up, there’s just a pause before a robotic voice pops up with the usual scam rubbish. Today it was something like, "Your Amazon Prime has been renewed for £65, press 1 for details." Absolute nonsense, I’ve never signed up or paid a penny to Amazon or anything of the sort.
