10 monthsThis number rang me like 7 times in the last few weeks, and today I picked up. The lady sounded really polite but was pushing some cheap hotel deals. I asked her, "Is this a timeshare sales pitch? I had one before and could never get a room 'cause they’d already been sold to sites like hotels.com." She just said sorry for the trouble and wished me a nice day before hanging up. Blocked now 🚫1 yearI was driving when this random caller rang me up and said something like “Brooksy breaks.” I quickly ended the call and have since blocked the number. Total unsolicited nuisance.1 yearWatch out for "Booksi Breaks" - they pretend to offer budget holidays but really push timeshare sales. Don’t get caught out. They lure you in with offers for cheap stays at certain hotels, but then you have to go through a really pushy sales presentation, which is compulsory. Also, their Trustpilot reviews are misleading because bad comments disappear unless you’ve actually booked and got a reference number (sounds like a Trustpilot validation problem). I’d personally stick with reliable companies such as Hays Travel. Just a heads up!TrustpilotHays Travel1 yearI got a call about some discounted hotel deals in two spots in the UK, one supposedly in Wales and the other over in Scotland. When I asked what the hotel names were and if they knew about the deals, the person on the other end said that the offers were only available through their website and that the hotels themselves didn’t know anything about it. Felt really dodgy to me, like a total scam.UKWalesScotland2 yearsI got a call about some cheap hotel deals. I wasn’t interested and said no thanks. When I rang the number back, they never told me the company name. If it was a proper business, surely they’d say who they are, right?2 yearsI didn’t pick up cause I didn’t recognise the number and no voicemail was left. Guess it was just a spam call, so I’ve blocked it.2 yearsI picked up the phone and it was all just noise like a really busy call centre, then it just dropped the call. I reckon it was some sort of scam.Submit Your Own Report (01691 598301)
