Got a call claiming to be from Amazon about stopping an automatic renewal for some yearly Prime subscription. Curious, I picked the option to speak with the manager. The guy who came on the line clearly wasn’t a native English speaker and called me "Mr [my first name]", which felt pretty strange and unprofessional. When I corrected him about how my name should be said, he just hung up on me. We only ever have Amazon on monthly direct debit, so this was definitely dodgy. Sounds like a scam to me.
