About an hour back, I got a call from these lot and they sounded pretty convincing. Just finished a chat with my bank and it turns out I've fallen for a scam.

My daughter got a call from a bloke named Monty who said he was ringing from Nat West Bank. He told her that her account had been hacked by someone else and convinced her to use a card reader to fix the problem. Sadly, she ended up losing money because she believed him. She didn’t realise at the time it was all a scam - he sounded so trustworthy.

This guy Monty rang up my daughter saying he was from Nat West. He told her that her bank account had been hacked by some stranger and that she’d have to use her card reader to fix it. She fell for it and ended up losing money. At the time, she had no clue it was all a scam, he sounded so believable.
