I got a voicemail saying my internet was gonna be disconnected within a day or two and I had to hit 1 to speak with someone. I just hung up and blocked the caller straight away.

Twice this week, I’ve had calls from this number. Whenever they take ages before saying anything, I get a bit wary. Both times, the person on the other end, who sounded African, just said “hello, it’s regarding your internet” without even asking if they were speaking to me properly! I just hung up straight away.

someone rang me saying they were from bt, then they put me through to a senior tech who said pretty much the same as the first caller. they mentioned there were error messages coming from my internet and said if i used my computer, they could fix it for me. their english was hard to follow and quite poor.
