I received a rather dubious call from someone purporting to be from Sky, claiming my landline service was being disrupted due to my mobile. They insisted I needed to download an app onto my phone, which would supposedly enable them to access all my personal information, including banking details and other accounts. Thankfully, I picked up on the fact that it was granting access to a third party. What a close call!
