In the past week, I've received numerous calls from an Indian call centre purporting to be the tech security department of BT Broadband. Each different number has appeared on various scam alert sites, including this one. The latest number seems to be spoofed, as BT Call Protect is unable to block it using 1752 - probably because it’s not recognised as a legitimate number - and you can't return the call either. I chose not to answer, so while I can't say for certain, it certainly has all the hallmarks of a scam.
